Our Cooking Matters team will be giving free grocery tours at the Walmart Supercenter in Mountain View! Shoppers will learn how to stretch their food budgets without sacrificing selection or nutrition. Participants who complete the short, self-guided tour will be eligible for the $10 Challenge where they will be given a free $10 grocery gift card to buy ingredients for a dinner for four. 2019 Serving Up Solutions

Serving Up Solutions is the annual fundraising event to support the Alliance and our programs, as well as to fund grants to hunger relief organizations in the home districts of legislators who participate in the event. Members of the Arkansas Legislative Hunger Caucus don their special aprons and serve a delicious 4-course dinner to donors, hunger advocates and guests, all to support the mission of eliminating food insecurity in Arkansas. Watermelon Crawl 2019

We’re pleased to announce Watermelon Crawl will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019, from 9 am to 12 pm, at Scott Melons and More in Scott, Arkansas. This is a day of great fun, good food, live music, and hard work. Volunteers gather in the field to help pick and load watermelons for transport, and everyone enjoys traditional harvest games. Volunteers will be provided with an event t-shirt, reusable water bottle, water, and lunch. Volunteers should wear closed-toed shoes. …
