Cooking Matters at the Store Event Day
Attention Shoppers!
Learn to stretch your food budget and get a free $10 Grocery Gift Card to practice what you’ve learned on the Cooking Matters at the Store grocery tour. The Alliance Cooking Matters team will be partnering with the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas for these one-day events. Don’t miss it. Participants must complete the grocery tour and survey to receive a gift card.

We need volunteers to help plant 5,000 sweet potatoes and
spread straw mulch. This is in preparation for the Yam Jam
that will be held in the fall when the sweet potatoes are
ready for harvest.

Serving up Solutions

Serving up Solutions is the Alliance’s annual fundraising event. The event includes dinner, served to guests by members of the Arkansas Legislative Hunger Caucus, as well as silent and live auctions. Proceeds go to support the programs and operations of the Alliance and to provide grants to food banks, pantries and other hunger agencies in the districts of legislators who participate in the event. Serving up Solutions was a finalist for Best Charity Event in the 2014 Arkansas Times Best of Arkansas reader survey.
