Serving up Solutions
Serving up Solutions is the Alliance’s annual fundraising event. The event includes dinner, served to guests by members of the Arkansas Legislative Hunger Caucus, as well as silent and live auctions. Proceeds go to support the programs and operations of the Alliance and to provide grants to food banks, pantries and other hunger agencies in the districts of legislators who participate in the event. Serving up Solutions was a finalist for Best Charity Event in the 2014 Arkansas Times Best of Arkansas reader survey.
Co-Chairs for this year’s event are Ruth and Lance Whitney. Sponsorships are available. For tickets, please contact Lynne Phillips at email@example.com for details.

It’s time to do the Watermelon Crawl!
This year’s Crawl is once again presented by our friends
at Bank of the Ozarks.
Volunteers from all over central Arkansas gather to
glean thousands of pounds of watermelon from the fields
at Scott Melons and More. The melons go to food pantries and
other hunger agencies that feed the hungry in our state.
We hope you’ll volunteer and enjoy the games, music, food and, of course,
loads of watermelon!
Volunteers are asked to register at the event.
